About Us Karen L. Jacobson, B.Comm, CA has worked in accounting and auditing for over thirteen years.  She has experience working in both large and small accounting firms and is continuing to establish her own offices in Thornhill, Ontario, just outside Toronto. D.L. (David) Pawlett, CGA has worked in accounting since 1979 and, in addition to fiscal year-end work, has experience in personal and corporate taxation, financing and restructuring, and solvency consulting.  David joined the team in early November 2006. Irving B. Lewis, CA, has worked in accounting and auditing for over thirty years.  He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of real estate, investments, and property management including income reporting and taxation.  Irv worked alongside Karen in a former accounting practice and joined Karen as an Associate in the J&A offices in January 2007. Well-experienced Bookkeepers! Bev Stanway, who was also supplying her professional skills to B&B Financial Services for over 5 years, is an associate at J&A, joining us when B&B Financial Services was acquired by Jacobson and Associates. Margaret Brown, an experienced bookkeeper whom Karen has known personally for many years, is an associate at Jacobson and Associates. Stephanie Serba, who was providing her bookkeeping services to J&A on a part-time basis, joined us in December 2006 as an associate.  She brings 9 years experience in bookkeeping to the team and has extensive experience in construction bookkeeping and system conversions.
